This services pack is designed as a one-stop-shop of assistance for overseas students who wish to study in New Zealand with a view to eventually gain a work permit and/or permanent residence.
This pack includes the following key stages of service support
IPS will review your qualifications and learning goals. We will recommend a shortlist of accredited educational institutions that will help you achieve you goals.
We will provide assistance to students to help ensure that they qualify for, and obtain, a Students Visa. Students are required to pay the tuition fees in advance to their chosen educational institution in order to qualify for a Student Visa.
We assist you in securing part-time employment as permitted under the student visa. We will match your requirements, skills and experience with suitable employment opportunities.
We also arrange appointments for you with selected employers or their agents for job interviews.
We can extend our services to find permanent employment for those who qualify i.e. students who have completed three years of study or students who have completed a qualification in an area of the Skills Shortage.
IPS will review your CV and evaluate your skills and experience in context of the current market and will match your profile with employment opportunities that will qualify you for a work visa.
We will liaise with employers or their agents, arrange interviews and assist migrants in securing a work visa.
From the moment you register with us, students and their parents will have access to our helpdesk - either by email or by phoning our toll-free number. This helpdesk provides instant support and information related to finding work, obtaining visas, accommodation, education and living in New Zealand, or in case of emergencies.
