Student stays and working holidays are excellent options to experience New Zealand and its unique lifestyle. This option is especially useful for people who intend to immigrate as it gives them a very good idea what it's like to live and work in New Zealand.

People who are in New Zealand on a Student Visa are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week while studying.

A Working Holiday Visa, by contrast, enables people between 18 and 30 years to work and travel in New Zealand for a whole year.

Students
We assist students who wish to study in New Zealand by reviewing their qualifications and recommending a selection of suitable accredited educational institutions to complete their studies and achieve their learning goals.

We will provide support and advice to students so they obtain a Students Visa which also qualifies them to work up to 20 hours per week while studying.

When students complete their studies, they may apply for Permanent Residency, provided they have a job offer (Skilled Migrant Category).

The good news is that students may also qualify for a work permit provided they have completed three years of study or have a qualification in an area of Skills Shortage.

Working holidays
With a working holiday visa, you are allowed to travel and work in New Zealand for up to 12 months. You may also apply for a work visa if you find permanent employment during this time.
