This has given him a thorough understanding of business and employment issues. He has had extensive experience in international marketing and been involved in a number of start-up companies.

Andrew Porteous
Andrew owns and manages the German Language School A & M Training, and runs seminars in Germany with www.gotonz.de A born New Zealander, Andrew has been living in Germany for several years where he worked as a language consultant for Business English. He represents IPS in Germany where he conducts seminars for future migrants and provides language training.

Lynn Whitehead- Licensed Immigration Adviser
Lynn Whitehead is a New Zealand licensed immigration adviser who has worked in the immigration field for 11 years. During that time, she has assisted hundreds of migrants from all over the world to study, work and settle in New Zealand.
Born and brought up inNew Zealand, she graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Language and Literature. She spent 15 years travelling and working overseas; living for a period of time in Asia and Europe.

During this time she gained experience in a variety of industries and roles including travel, finance, education, Japanese translation and interpreting, as well as stints in not for profit organisations in theUnited Kingdom.
Returning toNew Zealandin 2000, her first hand experience of migration and a passion for foreign cultures drew her to immigration work.  Her subsequent experience covers a wide range of immigration issues, including Long Term Business Visa applications and special directions to the Minister.

In addition,Lynnhas acquired considerable experience in migrant recruitment during her time employed at the Auckland Chamber of Commerce. She has developed a keen awareness of the particular issues and challenges facing new migrants seeking their first job inNew Zealand.

Lynn offers sound professional advice and guidance, backed up by relevant research of immigration policies in order to find the best solutions for her clients. At the same time, she offers a friendly and genuine connection with a local which she believes eases the transition from old to new, and assists the new migrant to settle as quickly and easily as possible into daily Kiwi life.

Lynn is the licensed adviser for Immigration Placement Services, one of New Zealand’s most established job placement companies, specialising in assisting migrants into relevant, skilled employment in New Zealand.
